Court House Museum |
Built in 1749, this is the oldest wooden courthouse in the country. It was here the Pilgrims established the first government in the new world in which citizens voted for their own officers and wrote their own laws. This site has been in continual use, either municipally or publicly, since the early 1620's. Open seasonally.
