Custom House Maritime Museum

This museum is a Classic Revival-style custom house built in 1835. Exhibits pertain to more than 300 years of maritime history, the China trade and shipbuilding on the Merrimac River.

A 15 minute audio-visual program gives visitors an overview of Newburyport.

Open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday 1pm-4pm in April through mid-December.
