This is a major research center for marine science operated by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center of the National Marine Fisheries Service under the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Visitors can view exhibits about local and commercial species, a sea pool, hands-on tanks, a behind-the-scenes area, and reserve tanks.
