Friendly Crossways Hostel and Conference Center

This smoke-free hostel and conference center provides inexpensive accommodations for individual travelers on a budget. Large meeting spaces include 24x50 dining hall with banquet seating for 70, with a fireplace; and 24x36 conference room furnished with comfortable couches and overstuffed chairs, large TV screen and VCR. There are three, more intimate "breakout" rooms for smaller groups; day and overnight rates include use of the fully-equipped kitchen. The main dorm sleeps up to 25; a sleeping loft has 10 twin beds. There are 14 private and family bedrooms with 1-3 beds. Blankets, pillows and hand-made quilts are provided. Linens may be rented, or save money by bringing your own. In order to keep costs low, they ask that you bring your own towels and toiletries. The facility is situated on 4 acres of lawn with volleyball, softball and soccer set-ups, surrounded by 40 acres of forest and organic gardens. There is ample parking. Wheelchair accessible.
