Founded by Horace Mann in 1839 as the first state-supported school in the United States for the training of teachers, Framingham State College (FSC) is located on a beautiful, 73-acre, traditional New England campus in Framingham, just 20 miles west of Boston. As Framingham is the largest town in Massachusetts, the College offers all the cultural and social benefits of the city without the pressures and inconveniences of living there.
FSC has 22 bachelor's degree programs and 21 master's degree programs for approximately 3,000 full-time students.
