Founded in 1851, Lasell College is one of the oldest institutions of higher learning in the greater Boston area. It is a comprehensive coeducational college offering nearly 40 academic programs leading to bachelor's and master's degrees. The 50-acre campus is located in suburban Newton, within eight miles of downtown Boston.
Of the 1000-plus full-time undergraduate students, eighty percent live on campus in more than 15 residence halls.
