Massasoit National Wildlife Refuge |
Established September 21, 1983, this refuge includes Crooked pond. It is managed primarily as a research and headstarting area for the endangered Plymouth Red Belly Turtle. The research program is conducted by Dr. Terry Graham of Worcester State College and has been ongoing since the late 1960's. The Refuge is closed to public use.
