Merwin House

The Merwin House was built around 1825 and houses a collection of American and European furniture. It is a gracious house typical of fine holiday homes kept by the wealthy elite in the 19th century. The Merwin House is now owned by the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities. Tours are offered on Saturday and Sunday during the summer and fall. Admission charged.
