Middlesex Community College (MCC) is located on two campuses, in Bedford and in Lowell. The Bedford campus spreads over 200 acres, with eleven buildings. It is located off Springs Road, near the Billerica border, close to Routes 128 and 3. The Lowell Campus is in the heart of downtown Lowell. MCC focuses on four strategic programs. The first, Learning, considered the foundation of the institution, is enhanced through a values-intensive core curriculum. Next, Professional Development, in which opportunities encourage creativity and applied scholarship. Third, Educational Preparation for employability, advancement, and career change in a competitive job market is provided through certificate and associate degree programs, short-term and noncredit courses, and customized training. Fourth, Community Partnerships with schools, businesses, and service organizations contribute to regional educational, social, cultural, and economic development.
