On display are bronze statues, fused glass and paintings by Benton Jones. Benton received his formal education at Carnegie Mellon University earning a BFA in sculpture. He then accepted a scholarship to attend the Johnson Atelier Technical Institute of Sculpture for their two year apprentice program. Upon completion in 94, he moved to Brewster, constructed his own studio, and opened the Millstone Sculpture Gallery last summer. He lectured at Ryder University and Binghamton University in conjunction with exhibitions of his work. His most locally recognized sculpture is an outdoor clock with swinging pendulum held in the air by two golden-winged lions which was commissioned for the office building rooftop of Cole Rosen Communications on South St., Hyannis.
