New Bedford Fire Museum

Located in a building adjacent to Old Station No. 4, which is still in use, this museum exhibits restored antique fire trucks and pieces of historic fire equipment. Upstairs are helmets, coats and boots for children to try on, a bell to ring and a 5-foot long pole to slide down.

Open daily 9am-4pm in July through September. By appointment the rest of the year.
