Willoughby Inn Bed & Breakfast |
The House was the first built on the Willoughby Farm and Estate in 1898. It was constructed in the "Philadelphia 2-family style" which is known for its creative use of space for large families at the turn of the century. The original cost of the house and property was $8,000, a huge sum at that time. It remained relatively unchanged for 95 years. The air-conditioned bedrooms are tastefully decorated with modern shared bath and sauna. The yard has been transformed into an unusual intimate Zen Garden with treehouse and trickling waters. Harvard University, MIT, and Tufts University are all within walking distance.
