Prospect Place Bed and Breakfast, a Victorian bed and breakfast built in 1866, is furnished with antiques and oriental rugs on top of the original wood floors. Rooms and suites feature double or king bed. The parlor/music room has Victorian wallpaper featuring pink ribbons and yellow urns on a dark blue background. There are two century-old grand pianos and sitting areas filled with daily newspapers and current magazines. A full breakfast including pastries, breads, fresh fruit bowls, juices, coffee, tea or cocoa, as well as eggs is served in the Victorian dining room. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University are nearby.
