W. Acton Citizens' Library Association

W. Acton Citizens' Library Association, serving an area of 2,600 residents, has a collection of 11,500 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 200 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 110 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.

Staffing consists of one employee, plus volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $5,400. Patrons make 8,800 visits annually, and check out materials 19,800 times. Forty-four percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
