Covering approx. 188 acres, this reservation encompasses Purgatory Chasm, a fissure about 1/4 mile long and averaging 40 feet in width and 48 to 70 feet in depth. A visitor center offers information on the area and visitors can enjoy trails, a playground and picnic areas.
