Located on the northern end of Thatcher Island off the Town of
Rockport, the Refuge is comprised of 22 acres of rock edge, grass, and shrub and includes a 100 foot light tower. Wildlife use includes both herring and great black-backed gulls as nesting species with off-shore use by common eider, and other waterfowl species.
