Thatcher Island National Wildlife Refuge

Located on the northern end of Thatcher Island off the Town of Rockport, the Refuge is comprised of 22 acres of rock edge, grass, and shrub and includes a 100 foot light tower. Wildlife use includes both herring and great black-backed gulls as nesting species with off-shore use by common eider, and other waterfowl species.
