Thornton W. Burgess Museum |
This museum is a memorial to the well-known children's author and naturalist born in Sandwich in 1874. Housed in the restored 1756 Elred House, the museum contains a large collection of Burgess' writings, original Harrison Cady illustrations of his animal characters and other mementos of Burgess' life and career.
