Truro is located in
Barnstable County. Near the tip of Cape Cod, Truro has long been a fishing center and is now a popular stop-off point along scenic US 6. Dune tours are available daily through local operators.
Highland Light or Cape Cod Light is located in Truro and although the 1795 lighthouse is not open to the public, its light can be visible 20 miles out to sea.
