Managed as a wilderness area, this refuge is located in southern New Hampshire on North Pack Monadnock Mountain. The Refuge is entirely wooded upland and exposed rock. No facilities other than a portion of the Wapack Trail are available. The trail within the Refuge is maintained by the Friends of the Wapack through a Memorandum of Understanding. This refuge is a non-staffed satellite of the Great Meadows NWR. For further information, go back to the Great Meadows NWR.
