The Nantucket House of Chatham was built on the island of Nantucket c. 1840. Alonzo Cahoon of South Chatham purchased the house from its original owner, a sea captain, and then moved the house from the island to the mainland by barge where it has remained to this day.
This five-bedroom inn offers a casual, friendly atmosphere, plus a large fireplace suite which can accommodate up to six people.
Within walking distance of the beach and easily accessible to salt marshes, bike paths, golf, biking, antiquing, shopping, birding, and wonderful traditional Chatham summer band concerts.
