Sherburne Inn is named after the town's early name, Sherborn, before it was changed, in 1795, to Nantucket. Sherburne Inn dates back to 1835, when it was built as headquarters for the Atlantic Silk Company. It was converted to a guest house in 1872.

Today the Inn invites you to savor the atmosphere, charm, and gracious hospitality of nineteenth-century Nantucket. It offers eight guest rooms, one room with a working fireplace.
