Founded in 1919 in the city of Springfield,about 90 miles west of Boston, Western New England College first occupied its present 131-acre campus in 1956. Graduate programs are offered through the Business and Engineering schools of the College. The only doctoral degree is offered through the School of Law. The College enrolls approximately 4,500 students, including 500 full-time and part-time students in the School of Law. Approximately 1,800 are enrolled in part-time undergraduate and graduate programs offered on campus and at eighteen sites throughout the Commonwealth.
