This center offers displays about the oceanographic research conducted by the institution. Included are a full-size model of the interior of the 'Alvin', a research submersible; a video introduction to the Institute's scientific work; and presentations about jellyfish, coastal science, research tools and deep-sea exploration.

Open Monday-Saturday 10am-4:30pm, Sunday noon-4:30pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Times vary the rest of the year. Call ahead for info.
