DNR Bear Creek Outfitting provides guided black bear hunting. It has 1000 sq miles of wilderness with bears. Large tents with electricity, showers, toilets, wooden floors with comfortable carpeting, and heaters are available. Home cooked meals are served. Hunters are taken to the hunting stand in four-wheel drive pickups and all-terrain vehicles. Hunting is done over bait, and hunters sit in large treestands, tripods, or ground blinds. DNR arranges local taxidermy for clients. Fishing is another pastime.
