Berlin is located in
Worcester County in eastern Maryland off US 50, southwest of Ocean Pines and
Assateague Island National Seashore. Berlin has an historical background since its establishment in the 1790s. The renovated Victorian town center boasts 47 individual structures noted in the National Register of Historic Places, representing nearly two centuries of architectural heritage.
