Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum |
This museum is dedicated to the history and traditions of the Chesapeake Bay. Skipjacks and other bay craft, waterfowling, boats, guns and decoys, paintings and ship models and the 1879 Hooper Strait Lighthouse are among the exhibits in this 18 acre complex. A boat building and maintenance shop serves as a working exhibit.
Open daily 9am-6pm in June through August; various hours the rest of the year.
