This was the last home of founder and first president of the American Red Cross, Clara Barton, and served as the early headquarters of that organization. Built according to the floor plan of a Red Cross relief structure used after the flood of 1889 at Johnstown Pennsylvania, the 1891 house is furnished with items that once belonged to Barton. Tours are given hourly 10am-4pm. House is open daily 10am-5pm; closed major holidays.
