Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) is a non-profit sailing program, dedicated to providing sailing opportunities to persons with disabilities. Ramps, docks, boat boarding and restroom facilities are designed for those with disabilities. The program work is done by volunteers who skipper the boats, care for them and ferry donated boats to storage sites. CRAB strives to make sailing accessible to all people, regardless of their financial situation, and sets up special arrangements for individuals and groups with limited means.
