Located on North Charles Street, this 1850s 48-room Italianate Mansion with classical revival additions and Corinthian columns, was home to two generations of discriminating collectors. Among the furnishings are Chinese export porcelains, Tiffany windows and chandeliers, post-impressionist paintings and sculptures, and 17th century Belgian tapestries. The libraries contain prints, manuscripts, rare books and other artifacts from around the world. Open Monday through Friday 10am-3pm, Saturday and Sunday 1pm-3pm; closed major holidays.
