Located on Maryland Avenue, this is a preserved Georgian house. Built in 1774 for legislator and planter Matthias Hammond, the building was the last work of renowned architect William Buckland. A museum since 1938, the house features late 18th and 19th century decorative art.
Open Monday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday noon-4pm; closed major holidays.
