Hampton National Historic Site

A Georgian mansion begun in 1783 by Charles Ridgely, Hampton is representative of the height of opulence in the period just after the Revolutionary War. The 62 acre site supports a formal early 19th century garden, greenhouses, and ice house, stables, slave quarters and a restored orangery. Food is available.
