Richardson Maritime Museum

The Museum is located in the heart of Cambridge Maryland in an early 1900s bank building which is on the National Historic Register. Many of the boat models displayed were actual boats harvesting oysters, crabs, and other seafood. While most of these boats are long gone, the models provide an excellent living record of our maritime heritage. It’s a must visit for boaters, historians, and tourists. Here you will find both the romance and the hard life on the water. Discover the creativity and ingenuity of the Eastern Shore boat builders as they developed vessels to meet the needs of those who worked and traded on the Chesapeake Bay.

The Museums hours are as follows: March-October, Wednesday and Sunday 1pm-4pm, and Saturday 10am-4pm. November-February, Saturday-Sunday 1pm-4pm.

The Museum is closed New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving & Christmas. Admission is free. Donations are welcome.
