Peninsula Regional Medical Center is a 107 year-old tertiary care facility that features the widest array of specialty and sub-specialty services on the Delmarva Peninsula. The Medical Center is comprised of 333 acute care and 30 subacute care beds. They are also home to the Peninsula Heart Center Peninsula Regional, at the hub of the Peninsula Regional Health System, provides comprehensive interventional and surgical cardiac care and houses the largest cardiovascular/pulmonary rehabilitation program in Maryland. In addition to general medical and surgical care, women's and children's services, outpatient diagnostic and therapeutic services, Peninsula Regional is home to the region's designated Emergency/Trauma Center, the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Center, Peninsula Stone Center, Peninsula Breast Diagnostic Center and multidisciplinary cancer care and neurosurgical services.
