Northwest Hospital Center is a 223 acute-and 17-subacute-bed private, not-for-profit hospital that serves the health care needs of communities along the Northwest corridor of the Greater Baltimore, Maryland region. The Hospital was established in 1962 as Liberty Court Rehabilitation Center.
In April 1963, it assumed a broader mission and became Baltimore County Hospital. Eight months later, it became a non-profit organization and was renamed Baltimore County General Hospital until June 1993, when it became Northwest Hospital Center. In 1998, Northwest Hospital Center merged with Sinai Hospital of Baltimore to form LifeBridge Health. Northwest Hospital is dedicated to providing patient-centered care, a philosophy at the core of all its programs.
Northwest Hospital provides the following medical services: Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, Gynecology, Medicine, Orthopedics, Pathology, Radiology, Surgery and Urology.
