Oxon Hill Farm

Located at Oxon Cove Park, this farm operates as an actual working farm where basic farming principles and techniques, as well as historical agricultural programs, are presented to provide the public with a better understanding of cropping and animal husbandry.

Visitors to the site, which is representative of other early 20th century farms, can explore a farm house, barns, a stable, feed building, livestock buildings and live animals, a farm museum, and a visitor activity barn on self-guiding tours. Weekend demonstrations include cow milking and egg gathering; wagon rides and seasonal programs are also offered. Other recreational opportunities include biking, hiking, and picnicking. Groups are welcome by prior arrangement. Open daily except major holidays.
