A watercraft exhibit has a rare gunning skiff and punting gun of the type used for duck hunting in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Potomac River Room features a replica of the original lighthouse and a display of a waterman's tools. The museum contains a replica of a late 19th century general store. A restored 1820 one room school house is on the grounds.
