St. Mary's City Maryland

The first capital of the state, and the site of the fourth permanent settlement in British North America, St. Mary's City is located in St. Mary's County, 75 miles southeast of Washington near Point Lookout on Chesapeake Bay between Park Hall and Ridge along Hwy 5 on the banks of the St Marys River. It is home to St Marys College of Maryland.
