In
Talbot County, Tilghman lies on Hwy 33 near Fairbank, east of
Easton. Calling itself "the home of Maryland's seafood industry", it is on Tilghman Island and is a true working watermen's village with excellent fishing and fresh seafood. It's also home to the last commercial sailing fleet in North America, the skipjacks, which are on display at Dogwood Harbor.
