Founded in 1866, this school is part of the University of Maryland system and offers undergraduate and graduate programs in liberal arts and sciences, allied health sciences, education, fine arts, communication and business and economics. There are 6 undergraduate and 1 graduate school. The 321 acre campus is in a suburban area 2 miles north of Balitmore. Including residence halls there are 40 buildings.
