Union Mills Homestead and House Museum

Located on Littlestown Pike, this large 1797 clapboard farmhouse began as the home of the Shriver families, who operated milling, farming, tannery and canning businesses known collectively as `Union Mills`. Furnishings, utensils, and other items represent nearly two centuries of American life. Across the lane is the three story 1797 Union Mills Grist Mill, built with 100,000 bricks made on the property. Powered by a large waterwheel, the mill still operates.

Open Tuesday through Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday and Sunday noon-4pm in June through August; hours vary the rest of the year.
