Goucher is an independent, coeducational liberal arts and science college located on 287 wooded acres. Enrolling more than 1,700 undergraduate and graduate students, they award the Bachelor of Arts and master's degrees. It was founded in 1885 and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Community service projects are also an integral part of a student’s experience. Close interaction with faculty is another cornerstone of a Goucher education, as is Goucher’s strong belief in the importance of staying connected to the world outside campus through community action, intercultural awareness, and international exploration.
