Loew Vineyards is a family run business nestled in a 37-acre parcel in Frederick County. The winery and vineyards are convenient to both Washington DC and Baltimore metropolitan areas. The rolling hills, gravelly soil, and moderate climate provide a hospitable setting for both Vinifera and French-American hybrid grapes. There are six different varieties of grapes, Marechal Foch, Leon Millot, Seyval Blanc, Chancellor, Chardonnay, and Riesling. The winery follows a European family tradition of fine winemaking and is open for tours, tasting, and sales.
