William Paca House and Garden

On Prince George Street, this was the estate of Paca, governor of Maryland and signer of the Declaration of Independence. Built in 1763-63, the restored Georgian house contains period furnishings. The garden was orginally laid out in 1765-72. The restored 2 acre area includes a Chinese Chippendale bridge, a domed pavilion, a fish-shaped pond, formal parterres and a wilderness garden.

Open Monday through Saturday 10am-4pm, Sunday and major holidays noon-4pm in March through December, hours vary the rest of the year.
