The Cumberland County Civic Center is a multi-purpose entertainment and sports facility conveniently located in the heart of downtown Portland. The Civic Center annually hosts a wide variety of family shows, concerts, sporting events, and trade shows. Home of the Portland Pirates Hockey team, minor league affiliate of the NHL Washington Capitals. The Center's pillar free construction and intimate size insures that there is not a bad seat in the house. Parking for 3000+ cars is available within a five-minute walk.
