Claremont Hotel

Since its establishment in 1884, the Claremont Hotel has serenely overlooked one of the grandest scenes on the eastern coast of the United States. From the hotel porch, the summer view is of the mouth of Somes Sound, guarded by Acadia's mountains with a buoyant parade of fleecy clouds above and the sailboat traffic below.
