Founded in 1970, Elan School is a 32 acre campus in a rural community. The program is based on the principle that behavior cannot be changed by simply eliminating negative actions. It helps problem adolescents to change attitudes and life patterns. Students are admitted at any time year round and boarding is available for 27 months. Two coeducational houses and library are available. Approved junior high, high school, and special education programs are imparted. Importance is given for sports. Special trips are organized during summer and various activities are conducted.
