Read a book on the front porch. Walk a short distance to climb Mt. Kineo. Climb the fire tower on top and enjoy a view of all 40 miles of Moosehead Lake and surrounding mountains. Go moose watching or berry picking. Jump in a kayak or canoe and explore the lake. Go fly fishing. Join a whitewater rafting trip. Play golf. Walk to Hardscrabble Point and do some bird watching. The island has a lot to offer, and yet, with no cars, it is a peaceful place to explore.
