The museum displays exhibits of local maritime and cultural heritage; highlights include artifacts found at the site of the 18th-century Andrews-Mitchell garrison. Early shipbuilding tools, household instruments, old toys and photography, and historic navigational instruments are also displayed. Group tours are available. Open Tuesday-Saturday, June through early October; by appointment the rest of the year. Closed on holidays.
