Cabbage Island Clambakes

Cabbage Island is a four and a half acre island south of Wall Point in Linekin Bay. It has been the home of traditional clambakes since 1956. It offers clambake cooked in seaweed, steamed from top to bottom, and covered with tarpaulins and rocks in order to capture all the flavor and sweetness of Maine lobsters and clams. The island activities include fishing from the dock, horseshoes, volleyball, and badminton. The island offers a limited few opportunities each year for wedding functions.
