The Maine Idyll has 20 cottages interspersed among a pretty grove of trees, accommodating two to six guests each.They are located about 2 miles north of Freeport Village on a relatively undeveloped stretch of U.S. Route 1. All have modern bathrooms with shower stalls or bathtubs, gas or electric heat, color TV, porches and very comfortable beds. Many units have fireplaces (free firewood provided) and mini kitchens. Some cabins are handicap accesible.
